Approval of minutes: The minutes of the April 2020 meeting are available for review at the borough office. The minutes are approved on a motion made by Robert Borzell and seconded by Diane Smiles

Officers Reports: Reports of the Police Department, Street Commissioner and Code Enforcement Officer for the month of April 2020 have been submitted and placed on file for public inspection.
The Borough recognized the Wyoming Free Library
On April 9th, the library provided produce, dairy products, frozen meat, and non-perishable items to more than 200 families!
Borough thanked Madison Properties owner Ariel Levy for the use of the Midway Parking Lot for the Food Distribution.
Borough also thanked Wyoming Free Library Sewing Club and Jere & Susan Franklin (Brackney Leather) for supplying the Borough employees with homemade mask.
Thank you to Jessica Hornlike for her donation of spray sanitizers for the Borough Employees.
The Borough Employees greatly appreciate all the donations the community has given with efforts to keep them safe.

A motion was made to appoint Borough Manager, Roseanne Colarusso to be the authorized agent on behalf of Wyoming Borough, to execute all required forms and documents for the purpose of obtaining financial assistance under the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (Public Law 93-288 as amended by Public Law 100-707).

Report: Pennsylvania Economy League released the Strategic Management Planning Program Report to the Borough. A link for report has been posted to the Borough’s website and Facebook page.

Health and Sanitation: Recycling and Solid Waste

Report: The Face Period has been extended for the 2020 Trash until July 15, 2020.
Shred event is scheduled for September 5th from 4-7 at the Borough Building. This is free to all residents. The Borough is reimbursed by the county up to $2,000.00 for this event.

The Board recognized Brackney Leather for Donation to the Recreation Board.
Their support to the Recreation Board is greatly appreciated.
Report: The Recreation Board delivered 185 bags to the community children who registered. This would not have been possible without donations from the following: Autism Behavioral Services, Kelly Best, Carpinet Plumbing & Heating, Dileo’s, Fidelity Bank, Independent Graphics, Sam’s Club, Gerrity’s, Ray Knaub & Company and the Skilonger Family.
A big thank you to the Easter Bunny and the Department of Works for delivering all the treats. Despite the restrictions due to the virus this was a success.
Next event “Chalk the Walk” will be held May 19th.

Mayor’s Report
- The Police Department responded to 79 incidents in the month of April 2020.
Mayor Dominick requested in lieu of receiving his annual salary of $2,500.00, he would like to donate as follows:
$1000.00 to the Wyoming Police Department
$1,000.00 Camera system for the Butler St Park
$500.00 to the Wyoming Recreation Board.
Motion was made to accept Mayor Dominick’s request of donation of his annual salary.
