The Luzerne Conservation District (LCD) will be conducting truck mounted ultra-low volume (ULV) mosquito control operations in the following municipalities: Forty Fort Boro, West Wyoming Boro, Wyoming Boro and Exeter Boro, Luzerne County.  Residential and recreational areas will be sprayed for adult mosquitoes. The control work will begin in the evening hours on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.  High populations of nuisance mosquitoes were collected in the affected area and numerous complaints were received by residents.

The truck mounted ULV spray will be conducted by LCD. The business license for LCD is BU 11113. The product that will be used is AquaDuet, applied at a rate of .62 oz/ac. This product is designed to provide quick knockdown and effective control of adult mosquitoes.
