NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Borough Council of the Borough of Wyoming at the special meeting to be held on Monday,   December 31, 2018 at 2 p.m., at the Borough Building, 277 Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, will fill the vacancy of the open Borough Council Position, authorize the execution of a tax anticipation loan, conduct general Borough Business and consider adopting two Ordinances as follows:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF WYOMING, LUZERNE COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA ADOPTING THE GENERAL OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2019 APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE EXPENSES OF THE BOROUGH OF WYOMING FOR THE PERIOD COMMENCING ON THE FIRST DAY OF JANUARY, 2019 TO AND INCLUDING DECEMBER 31, 2019.

Borough Council will be adopting the proposed 2019 general operating budget in the amount of $1,388,052.43 of revenues and $1,388,052.43 of expenses; and

AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF WYOMING, LUZERNE COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA LEVYING GENERAL AND SPECIAL TAXES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2019 BY SETTING THE REAL ESTATE TAX MILLAGE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2019 AS FOLLOWS:

General Purposes                                                      3.7905 mills

A copy of the proposed Ordinances are available for inspection by any citizen at the Borough Building located at 277 Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania on any Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
