Approval of minutes: The minutes of the August 2019 meeting are available for review at the borough office. The minutes are approved on a motion made by Frank Yurek and seconded by Michael Baloga.
Officers Reports: Reports of the Police Department, Street Commissioner and Code Enforcement Officer for the month of August 2019 have been submitted and placed on file for public inspection.

Motion made to approve the engagement letter from Prociak & Associates LLC for the Wyoming Borough 2018 audit, which will begin approximately on September 15th and be completed no later than December 15th. Fee for services will not exceed $7,200.00.

Report:
Wyoming Hose Co # out of service since August 16,2019 due to a fire, should be back in service by September 10. Wyoming Hose Co # 2 has been in service but had damage to a rear door. One of their firefighters were hurt.
Pittston Ambulance received the 2019 PA Department of Health EMS Agency of the Year Award.
Health and Sanitation: Recycling and Solid Waste

Opening of bids for Sanitation Services for 2020 from JP Mascaro & Sons took place during the Wyoming Borough Council meeting.

Wyoming Borough residents were reminded about the Paper Shred event for September 12, 2019 will be held at Pettebone Park on Monument Avenue from 4:00-7:00

Wyoming Kiwanis will install flags for Hometown Hero’s within Wyoming Borough. Friends and families can purchase the flags and The Kiwanis Club will take care of the installations and the details.
The Recreation Board will be sponsoring An Adult Night Out at Sabatini’s Bar & Bottle Shop on October 3th, Cost of the tickets will be $25.00 per person, which will include unlimited pizza and 3 drink tickets.
The Recreation Board will host a Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 26th at Pettebone Park.

Mayor’s Report
The Police Department responded to 210 incidents in the month of August 2019.
Police Department reported 40 arrests and 42 garbage citations issued year to date.
The 2017 Audit is complete and Wyoming Borough will be approving the 2018 audit during tonight’s meeting.
Borough manager reported letters she received today from the IRS saying $3,833.26 taxes were past due from 2015, 2017 and 2018.
Floor opens to the public
Speakers were:
- Chris Cawley gave updates on Wyoming Borough Grants.
- Mark Bertocci was concerned about State Police Barracks relocating to Hanover and the loss in taxes for the Borough. He also questioned if there has been any interest in the Bon Ton building.
Communications: A list of communications received since the last meeting have been presented to council and accepted on a motion made by Joseph Scaltz and seconded by Diane Smiles.

Wyoming Borough is still waiting for Casualty Insurance Proposals for 2020.
