Approval of minutes: The minutes of the December 2020 meeting are available for review at the borough office. The minutes are approved on a motion made by Diane Smiles and seconded by John Lipski.

Officers Reports: Reports of the Police Department, Street Commissioner and Code Enforcement Officer for the month of December 2020 have been submitted and placed on file for public inspection.

Motion was made to approve Resolution 1-2021 to authorize the Local Share Account Grant application submission in the amount of $264,400.00 for the purpose of Equipment Project. The grant will fund the acquisition of one new police vehicle and one new backhoe.

Motion was made to approve Resolution 2-2021 to designate Michael J. Baloga, Council President and Roseanne Colarusso, Borough Manger, as the officials to execute all documents and agreements between the Borough of Wyoming and the Commonwealth Financing Authority to facilitate and assist in obtaining the requested grant.

Report: The Borough received the funding from the Cares Relief Block Grant Program from the county in the amount of $43,643.06.
Spread sheet provided with a listing of covered expenditures the borough has been reimbursed for due to Covid-19 related expenses.

Michael Baloga asked if they can look into reducing any fees for the trash payments, he has been receiving a lot of complaints about the cost. They are going to research other options before June.
Report: The 2021 Trash payments have been coming in daily.

The committee will be submitting the proposal to the Count House in two weeks. It should take another 2 to 3 months to complete.
Solicitor’s Report:
Settlement with Susquehanna Realty is moving forward.
Mayor’s Report
- The Police Department responded to 131 incidents in the month of December 2020, for a total of 1798.00 for the year.
Floor opens to the public:
Robert Christian requested to speak to council about dedicating playground equipment to the Borough but did not attend on the meeting.
Communications: A list of communications received since the last meeting have been presented to council and accepted on a motion made by Joseph Scaltz and seconded by Diane Smiles.
